Frenzic for the iPhone

My friends over at the Iconfactory have just released Frenzic for the iPhone.
A fast-paced, addictive game that makes Tetris look like child’s play.
This game is pretty much a mandatory install for every iPhone owner, as far as I’m concerned.
I especially like the tagline: Addiction never felt so right.
The Rumors of Subversion's Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated

Despite the growing popularity of Git, Subversion is alive and well … and claims to (still) be the fastest growing open source application for version control:
The data shows the adoption of Subversion only on public Apache servers that report their mod_dav_svn module (Subversion’s Apache module). More public servers exist; for example, those running the svnserve server. And, there are many more Subversion servers behind firewalls.
I’d be interested to see a similar graph for Git, and then review both charts again in a year or so.
DxOMark Sensor Ranks Cameras Based on Real-Life Scenarios
18 November 2008 · permalink · cameras, gear, photography
For all of you camera geeks out there:
DxO Labs has developed a new scale for digital camera image quality performance, called DxOMark Sensor, to serve as an additional tool to help photographers rank and compare digital cameras.
This scale is based on three underlying metrics, Color Depth, Dynamic Range and Low-Light ISO, each one tied to a real-life photographic scenario: landscape, studio & portrait, and photojournalism & sport.
You can play with the interactive graph to see the ranking for about 50 digital cameras to see how yours compares, changing the x-axis for time, price, and resolution, and filter by brand, sensor size, and more. Pretty cool.
