The Hivelogic Podcast Is Here
Update: I normalized the original track using the Levelator and man, what an improvement! It might even be worth a second listen, especially if you thought John was a bit too quiet in some parts.
Yup, it’s true, I’ve finally gone ahead and recorded my first podcast.
I talked with my friend, the famous John Gruber of Daring Fireball, about Macworld 2007 and what we might expect to see there.
In part one, we talk about the possibility (and difficulties of launching) an iPod phone, and more.
This is my first shot at a podcast, and while I know I have a lot to learn, I can honestly say it was a tremendous amount of fun to do, and as always, I had a great time talking with John.
I used Rogue Amoeba’s awesome Audio Hijack Pro to record the call over Skype, Fission to tweak the track, and then combined it all in Garage Band. A huge thank you to Manton Reece and Ryan Irelan for their help and advice.
