Abrams, the well-known director, producer, and the creator of one of my all-time favorite TV shows, LOST, discusses his passion for the unseen mystery, and how he follows this thread in his favorite movies (like Star Wars and Jaws), and how it’s inspired him to draw viewers into the stories he tells.

I can tell from the picture of Hitchcock in the background that he’s going to talk about MacGuffins, right? Or maybe that’s a red herring. Oh, the suspense!

Awesome vid Dan. You’ve got to wonder sometimes how the guy actually finds the time to do things like this, considering that he’s supposed to be finishing and promoting Star Trek.
