It turns out that incandescent bulbs may not be going away after all. NY Times:
There have been more incandescent innovations in the last three years than in the last two decades.
A new breed of energy saving bulbs, like those from Philips, give off the same amount of light as a traditional 100-watt bulb and last about three times as long.
This is great news for those of us who think florescent and halogen bulbs should be reserved for corporate offices and automobile repair shop waiting rooms.
