Dock Placement
Most of your developer friends place Mac OS X’s Dock on the left-hand side of the screen. You do this as well. But none of your non-developer friends do this.
Your thinking behind doing this is that there is usually more horizontal screen-space than vertical, as most screens are wider than they are tall.
Anyone else putting the dock (or the Start Menu) on the side?
