"Installing Rails on Leopard" Article Coming Soon

Update: The Ruby on Rails for Leopard installation instructions can be found here.
The instructions in my article on Building Ruby, Rails, Subversion, Mongrel, and MySQL on Mac OS X article don’t work perfectly on Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5). I will be releasing a new set of build instructions for building Ruby on Rails (and all of the prerequisites) customized for Leopard once I’ve had a day or so to test and finalize them with the public release.Of course I realize that Leopard ships with Ruby, Rails, and a host of supportive utilities and libraries, but there are still some important reasons why you might still want to roll your own version of our favorite web application framework.Watch this space.

How far off is that article? I'm really interested in learning RoR and I'm on Leopard so the article would be a great read for me. :)

Dan
I've written an article on this very topic that you may wish to look at. I've focused on using the RoR stack that comes with Leopard. My next article will focus on MySQL installation options. Please check it out! http://www.kolonay.com/2007/10/ruby-on-rails-and-leopard-n00bs-view.html

You had a baby boy? congrats Dan.
For the upcoming instructions on Leopard, I wanted to see if we could do an uninstall of previous ruby versions and MySQL altogether and start a clean slate. All this after the holidays and of course your newborn. You have to take time to enjoy your family... all this would be pointless without the family. The other day I took my nephews and my sister to fly a kite. It had been years... and it was wow... such a feeling.
So, family is important ;) Merry Christmas.
