Hivelogic is a website about discovering quality, living more efficiently, and leading a simpler, more mindful life. This site was established in 2000 by Dan Benjamin, a writer, software developer, photographer, usability geek, and broadcaster.

Dan Benjamin in San Francisco Hivelogic is published by Dan Benjamin, a writer, software developer, usability designer, and broadcaster, available for hire. Dan is the creator of the Enkoder, developer of the A List Apart CMS, co-founder of Cork’d, and co-hosts the Talk Show and Tack Sharp podcasts. In addition to running Hivelogic Corporation and Secret Space Agency, Dan is an Entrepreneur in Residence at PeepCode and the Technical Director for Sifter.

Photography

Dan is an amateur photographer, and publishes many of his photos on Flickr. His primary camera is a Nikon D90 SLR, and his main lenses are a 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G Nikkor and a 50mm f/1.4G Prime Nikkor.

Personal

Dan practices daily Vipassana meditation in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. His articles on this subject can be found here.

Dan lives with his wife and their son in Orlando, Florida.
